Driving Change: Dr. Gayle Schueller’s Insights on Global Sustainability and Science Innovation

“Look at the innovations. I don’t want to give too many examples here, but electric vehicles, if it weren’t for Tesla making electric vehicles aspirational, I don’t think we would be where we are now with the transformation towards electrifying transportation. I think that there are breakthroughs that hopefully somebody listening to this today, a young person, are going to have.”

In today’s episode, we’re joined by a visionary leader in the arena of sustainability, Gayle Schueller, the Chief Sustainability Officer at 3M. Gayle brings a treasure trove of insights into the intersection of science, technology, and environmental stewardship, fostered from a childhood immersed in the natural beauty of national parks and a keen observance of technological evolution and challenges.

Looking towards 2040, she envisions a world transformed by technological advances in smart buildings, transportation, and artificial intelligence advancements that not only promise to revolutionize our way of life but also offer sustainable solutions to the environmental and societal challenges we face today.

Join your host, Prashant Raizada, as we delve into how companies like 3M are turning challenges into opportunities, integrating sustainability into the core of their business strategies, and inspiring the next generation to build a more sustainable future.

Tune in to discover how optimism and action can coalesce to reshape our world.
